Pastor R. Hunter Johnson IV is a native Texan that was led to South Carolina over 15 years ago. He has served for over 25 years with students across the nation as a camp counselor, recreation leader, event speaker, event leader, Youth Pastor and Children’s Pastor. He has a passion for people, teaching them about Jesus and enjoys bringing laughter into every aspect of life. The Lord, about a year ago, began moving him to a place where he would step into the head pastor role. Through the grace of God, he is now the Head Pastor at Mt Olive Baptist Church in Nichols, South Carolina. He is married to a local girl from the Green Sea Floyds area and has three boys. He enjoys time outside, working in his wood shop, spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.

Myra Jo Cannon is grateful to serve as our part-time Church Secretary and she truly loves Mt. Olive Baptist Church and the community! Born and raised in Conway, SC, she grew up on a family farm where she learned the value of hard work and faith. Myra Jo has worked in law offices, the Magistrate’s Office, and spent 18 years with HTC before dedicating more time to her family. In addition to being a devoted wife, mama, and Nana, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, watching movies, thrifting, and relaxing on her front porch. Passionate about serving others, and making people smile, Myra Jo loves connecting with people, offering encouragement, and sharing God’s love through her work and everyday life.
